New religious service opportunities

Are you interested in seeing how others worship?  Perhaps someone in class would allow you to come with him/her to his/her worship?  Perhaps a small group is interested in a different tradition?  This can be your contemplative challenge for March.  Let me know if you want to go to temple or mosque, and perhaps I'll go with you.  Be especially alert to the Easter services at the end of March if you have not gone to those before:  you really will learn a great deal about the Christian beliefs about death from them.

  1. I would be interested in any services. I would really love to learn about the different religions that do exist. Not only for myself but to have better practice of my career also because health care is based upon religious beliefs in many cases.

  2. I would most definitely be interested in experiencing the way others worship. I think it would be interesting to see the similarities and differences between several worship services. I am Catholic and have only attended Catholic services and "Assembly of God" services at a World Prayer Center in Louisville (this is where all religions attend, which my experience were when I was younger). Like Hailee mentioned it would better her career, I think it would help me because I will come in contact with many students that each have different worship practices.

  3. I would like to experience the practices of different religions simply because the only one I have been exposed to is the Roman Catholic mass

  4. I would like to learn about Islamic culture and practice if we could pull that off! I've only been to a catholic wedding and I'm the best man in one this upcoming summer which is why I would like to go to one catholic celebration so I can get somewhat more comfortable with it!

  5. Growing up Baptist, although I no longer practice it, I am interested in attending any other church service except for a Catholic service. I have attended a Mass before as well as Catholic funerals and weddings.
